Majestic’s firefighter hoods are NFPA1971 Compliant / UL Certified to the latest edition. These fire retardant hoods provide unparalleled comfort, protection, and value. Their fabrics are inherently protective, which allows for the ultimate in protection against radiant and intense heat without the risk of the protective nature being “washed out”. Majestic’s hoods offer more square inches of protection per style than any other hood on the market. This generous fit allows for less fabric stress and Our PAC II Style offers more square inches of protection and is our most popular NFPA approved hood style. The notched shoulder and longer length allows for a proper fit and added protection across the chest. The longer length (3 inches longer than NFPA requires) assures that this hood will stay tucked inside other required equipment. In addition, the Enersole System includes a high- density polyurethane midsole that absorbs energy. The second layer of comfort includes an Ortholite breathable polyurethane footbed that provides all-day comfort. The footbed fabric cover absorbs perspiration and is removable for fast drying. Pro-Tech 8 Titan use the highest quality components including DuPont Kevlar ® and Nomex ® and water repellent leather. The multi-layer design allows incredibly soft and comfortable break in with thermal protection that actually increases after washing, as proven during our lab certification testing; also while drying quickly and soft.
